Ingvar Högni Ragnarsson graduated from the visual art department in the Icelandic Academy of the Arts in 2007. Ingvar Högni also studied at the photography department in the Royal Academy of the Arts in Den Haag. He has participated in various group exhibitions in Iceland and abroad and has worked on various cultural collaborative projects. In 2008 he published his first artist-photo book called "Þess á milli" (In Between) with Nýhil. Alongside his art and photography Ingvar Högni is running an artist bookstore called Útúrdúr in Reykjavik with Bryndís Björnsdóttir and friend Gurra. Ingvar lives and works in Reykjavik.

Along side his art he photographs for various artists, galleries, museums and bands and has been published in various magazines and newspapers.
